Was traveling to go see my husband with 5 kids and 2 dogs the people wouldn't help me get to my spot but seen them help others. Than my kids wanted to go play at the park they were told to shut up and be quiet in the middle of the day and than after all that they were told to shut up while showering because the office is right beside it. Not a good place if you have kids and no shower in your RV. This was August of 2017. Coming back home we decided to stay at the koa in the bandlands amazing people very helpful and loved children!
Very nice park for being out in the middle of nowhere. Trees and grass very well kept. We stayed in a 43ft motor home easy to maneuver in park. Would stay here again if coming throught this area.
Nice, clean and quiet place. Very friendly and helpful owners. Flat sites with grass and trees. Cute game room.
Came in June and the wind and heat was unbearable. The pool was the only solace. Air conditioners weren't working in the on site cabins so we had to lose our money on our campsite and go to a nearby hotel.
We stayed at this KOA night #1 of a 10 day trip through Yellowstone. This KOA is about half way between Sioux Falls & Rapid City - perfect place just off I-90 to get some cheap food at their small grill area, a jump in their pool & hot tub, get a good nights rest and be on your way in the morning. It's a smaller campground and all sites are within 2 minute walk to the bathrooms/showers. I would suggest staying here for a night to anyone - the customer service was always awesome! I wouldn't suggest for more than a 2 night stay due to the limited number of options in the area. Overall, the 1 night stay was a 9.5/10.
